CS2 Crosshair Generator
Built for the new CS2 crosshair system: every style and pixel setting the game exposes, drawn as it looks in a match. Copy the new-format code when it feels right.

How to use the generator
- Pick a starting point: a pro's crosshair from the list, the game default, or any code you paste, old CSGO- codes included.
- Adjust length, gap and thickness first. These three settings define the shape and are whole pixels.
- Choose a colour that stays visible on the maps you play. Green and cyan are the safest.
- Pick an outline mode and colour if the crosshair disappears on bright walls, or turn it off if you want it thinner.
- Copy the CS… share code and import it in CS2, or copy the console commands and paste them in the console.
Settings explained
Length
How long each bar is, in pixels at the screen height stored in the code. CS2 scales it to your resolution, so a length of 2 at 1080p is 3 pixels at 1440p. Since the update the setting is called cl_crosshair_length, not size. Most pros sit between 2 and 5. See the small crosshair codes for examples.
Gap
The space between the bars and the centre, in pixels. Gap 0 and 1 both close the cross, and each step above that adds one pixel of space. Only Dynamic Cross (Legacy), style 2, accepts negative gaps. Most pros use 1 or 2.
Thickness
How wide each bar is, from 0 to 32 whole pixels. Odd thicknesses centre on a single pixel and even ones on the line between two, so a 2-pixel cross sits half a pixel off a 1-pixel one. That is normal engine behaviour.
Outline
Off, full or half. A full outline draws a one-pixel border around each bar; a half outline only draws its top and left edges, a lighter shadow. Since the update the outline has its own colour and alpha instead of always being black. Compare the no-outline codes most riflers use against the outlined presets before deciding.
Centre dot and T-style
The dot adds a square in the middle sized by the thickness value; the Dot Only style gives you a dot crosshair with nothing else. T-style removes the top bar of the cross styles so nothing sits above your aim point.
Colour and alpha
The update removed the colour presets: every crosshair is now a plain RGB value plus an alpha from 0 to 255, so green, yellow, cyan, white and mint are just numbers. The swatches above are shortcuts for the colours pros use most.
Style
CS2 now has ten styles. Static Cross (4) is the static crosshair almost every pro uses. Static Circle, Static Square, Static Quad and Dot Only are other fixed shapes. Dynamic Cross, Dynamic Circle and Dynamic Quad spread with your real inaccuracy, Dynamic Cross (Legacy) is the CS:GO-style split cross, and Static Cross (Shot Feedback) only reacts when you fire.
The advanced section covers the rest. Follow recoil makes the crosshair track your spray. Spread limit caps how far dynamic styles open. Split distance and the split alpha values only apply to Dynamic Cross (Legacy), and quad size sets the arc length of Static Quad. Screen height is the resolution the pixel sizes are meant for, and the scope dot settings control the dot on scoped weapons.

Popular starting points
Most players start from a pro they like and change one or two values. These are the most copied: donk, ZywOo, s1mple, NiKo, m0NESY, ropz, sh1ro, b1t, device, and Twistzz. Click a name, then use Edit in generator on their page, or search the player in the panel above.
Generator FAQ
How do I use the crosshair I made?
Click Copy code, then in CS2 open Settings → Game → Crosshair, click Share or Import, paste and import. Or copy the console commands and paste them into the console.
Is the preview accurate?
It draws the crosshair in whole CS2 pixels at 1080p, following how the new crosshair renders: gap 0 and 1 close the cross, odd and even thicknesses centre differently, and outlines are drawn per bar. Dynamic styles are shown at rest. On other resolutions the game scales the crosshair from the screen height in the code.
Does it make codes for the new CS2 crosshair update?
Yes. Every code it produces is the current format, CS followed by 44 characters, which is the only format CS2 imports since the 30 September 2026 update. Paste an old CSGO- code into the Import box and it is converted for you.
Can I import a pro’s code and edit it?
Paste any code into the Import box or click a player name under Start from a pro. Every setting loads into the sliders and you can change what you like.
What does the gap value mean?
The gap is the space between the bars and the centre in pixels. Gap 0 and 1 both close the cross, and every step above adds one pixel. Negative gaps only work on Dynamic Cross (Legacy). Most pros use 1 or 2.
What do the ten crosshair styles do?
Static Cross (4) is the choice of almost every pro. Static Circle (3), Static Square (8), Static Quad (9) and Dot Only (6) are other fixed shapes. Dynamic Cross (0), Dynamic Circle (1) and Dynamic Quad (7) spread with inaccuracy; Dynamic Quad is the new game default. Dynamic Cross (Legacy) (2) is the CS:GO-style split cross and Static Cross (Shot Feedback) (5) only reacts when you fire.
